About The Position

Our solutions help customers improve energy efficiency, reduce emissions, and enhance workplace safety. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Blanket Production Associate to join our team. This is a hands-on manufacturing position responsible for producing high-quality reusable insulation blankets in accordance with production drawings, specifications, and quality standards. The Blanket Production Associate works as part of the manufacturing team to fabricate reusable thermal and acoustic insulation blankets. This position requires hands-on work with industrial fabrics, insulation materials, fasteners, and related components. Responsibilities may include measuring, cutting, sewing, assembling, stuffing, finishing, labeling, inspecting, and packaging insulation blankets. The ideal candidate is dependable, quality-focused, comfortable working with their hands, and able to maintain productivity in a manufacturing environment. Previous industrial sewing or fabrication experience is preferred, but candidates with relevant manufacturing, upholstery, textile, or similar hands-on experience are encouraged to apply.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Trade, vocational, sewing, textile, upholstery, or manufacturing training is a plus.
  • Manufacturing, industrial sewing, textile fabrication, upholstery, assembly, or similar production experience preferred.
  • Experience operating industrial sewing machines is strongly preferred.
  • Experience working from drawings, patterns, measurements, or production instructions is preferred.
  • Candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and demonstrated ability to learn hands-on production processes will also be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Manufacture reusable insulation blankets according to production drawings, work instructions, and established quality standards.
  • Operate industrial sewing machines and other production equipment safely and effectively.
  • Measure, cut, position, and assemble fabrics, insulation materials, and components.
  • Sew and finish insulation blankets using appropriate seams, fasteners, hardware, and construction methods.
  • Install straps, buckles, hooks, wire, tags, and other components as required by the product design.
  • Stuff and assemble insulation blankets using specified insulation materials and thicknesses.
  • Read and follow production drawings, measurements, labels, and job-specific instructions.
  • Verify dimensions and workmanship throughout the production process.
  • Inspect completed work for proper fit, dimensions, construction, labeling, and overall quality.
  • Identify and communicate material, drawing, equipment, or quality issues to the Production Supervisor.
  • Rework or repair products when necessary to meet Thermaxx quality standards.
  • Maintain an organized workstation and properly handle tools, materials, and equipment.
  • Assist with material movement, staging, packaging, and other production activities as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with other production team members to meet daily and weekly production requirements.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
  • Perform other production-related duties as assigned.
