About The Position

The Bistro Busser position involves a combination of bussing, bar support, and food running, ensuring an exceptional experience in a casual/contemporary restaurant and nightclub/lounge setting. The Bistro Bus/Back will have shifts in Bistro 101, B-Side Lounge, or both. The Busser must maintain a professional, polished demeanor, anticipate guest needs, and work closely with the bar and service teams to uphold the venue's standards of excellence.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write fluently in English.
  • One (1) year of experience in gourmet, contemporary dining, high-volume restaurants, and cocktail lounges and/or nightclubs.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must possess or obtain a Responsible Beverage Service State Certification.
  • Must possess or obtain a California Food Handler Certification.
  • Ability to handle a flexible work schedule, working weekends, holidays, and all shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Redefine hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while living, supporting, and promoting company values.
  • Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of all food and beverage offerings to be able to explain the menu to guests with confidence and make recommendations.
  • Follow the steps of service as outlined by the department on a consistent basis.
  • Deliver food and beverages promptly, ensuring correct orders and presentation.
  • Clear tables and bars of dirty dishes and glassware following the prescribed method.
  • Provide attentive, friendly, and personalized service throughout the dining experience.
  • Maintain an organized and clean work area, including the dining room, back bar, and service stations.
  • Anticipate guest needs and address any concerns or requests in a timely manner.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and accurate orders.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Assist with setting up and breaking down the dining area as assigned.
