About The Position

The Bistro Attendant is responsible for providing prompt, courteous and efficient customer service to guests in the Bistro. This role involves taking orders, preparing food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The Bistro Attendant plays a key role in ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a customer service or food service role is preferred.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques.
  • Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and provide excellent customer service.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately.
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages according to established standards.
  • Operate the cash register and handle cash and credit card transactions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Bistro area, including tables, counters, and equipment.
  • Restock supplies as needed.
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations.
