About The Position

The Bistro/Catering Associate at a Courtyard by Marriott is responsible for combining roles in food service, customer interaction, and event support. Duties may adapt to meet evolving business needs. All offers are contingent on background checks. Adhering to Newport Handbook policies is required. Requirements

• Previous experience in a customer service or food service role preferred
• Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
• Prepare and serve food and drinks according to company standards
• Maintain cleanliness in the bistro area
• Handle cash and operate the point-of-sale system
• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies
