The BIS 2 - Queens position is responsible for identifying the habilitative, behavioral, and psychiatric needs of individuals supported by YAI. This involves conducting formal and informal assessments using person-centered tools, Life and Staff Action Plans, and collaborating with individuals and their support networks. The role includes conducting behavioral and habilitative assessments, analyzing data, and developing individualized habilitative and behavior support plans. The position also involves researching and implementing evidence-based treatment interventions, developing various types of support plans, and ensuring proper approvals and consent for interventions. The BIS 2 oversees data collection, makes timely modifications to plans based on monitoring, and ensures accurate completion of all required documentation. A key part of the role is training direct care staff and management on individual service plans and behavior management, evaluating staff performance, and providing feedback. The position also involves serving as a clinical team leader, participating in interdisciplinary meetings, and performing other assigned duties.
