About The Position

Vitalant is currently hiring a Biotherapies Donor Management Specialist to support innovative research, clinical, and manufacturing programs that advance life‑saving therapies. This role supports biotherapies initiatives across basic research, clinical studies, and production by coordinating and managing allogeneic donors and serving as a key connection point among internal teams and external partners. The Biotherapies Donor Management Specialist helps ensure donor availability, quality, and regulatory compliance while supporting projects that contribute to the future of transfusion medicine and biotherapeutic advancement. In this role, you will coordinate study activities, manage donor participation, and support regulatory and operational processes that enable successful research and manufacturing outcomes. You will collaborate closely with Biotherapies, Blood Services, plasmaSource, Sales, and other partners to support donor eligibility, scheduling, communication, and documentation. Through a focus on compliance, quality, customer experience, and continuous improvement, you will help maintain reliable donor participation and operational excellence while supporting Vitalant’s commitment to donors, partners, and the patients we serve.

Requirements

  • Associates degree in related area or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Four years of related experience (medical, research, or Blood Center) required.
  • Strong understanding of research, clinical, or regulated operational environments
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with computer systems, databases, and common software platforms
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment
  • Knowledge of, or ability to learn, equipment and techniques associated with whole blood collection

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Phlebotomy experience preferred.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and variable schedules as needed

Benefits

  • Base Pay: $23.41/hour - $30.30/hour (Depending on Experience)
