About The Position
Join our specialized 2K Upstream team on the night shift, where you will play a vital role in the initial stages of drug substance manufacturing, ensuring healthy cell cultures and adherence to GMP regulations.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
- Ability to work a consistent 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM rotational schedule.
- A commitment to following strict instructions and safety protocols to ensure product quality.
- Ability to work in a cleanroom environment, which includes wearing specialized protective gowning.
Nice To Haves
- An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a Science-related discipline is a plus.
- 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or a regulated environment is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate 2,000-liter bioreactors and support equipment to facilitate mammalian cell growth.
- Perform precise inoculation, sampling, and monitoring of cell health to ensure production stays on track.
- Execute Clean-in-Place (CIP) and Steam-in-Place (SIP) procedures to maintain the highest standards of sterility.
- Record all production activities in real-time using electronic and paper-based systems (GDP).
- Coordinate the transfer of raw materials and chemicals required for the night's production run.
- Participate in shift handovers and coordinate with the 2k team to ensure seamless 24/7 operation.
