Provide statistical support, as a consultant or collaborator, to clinical and research investigators and to administration. Responsible for providing consultative research efforts to investigators within and/or outside their departments. Work is typically performed in an office environment. Requirements

Master's Degree- (Required)
Minimum of 10 years-Relevant experience (Required)
Relevant experience may be a combination of related work experience and degree obtained (PhD = 4 years).

Responsibilities

Provide statistical expertise for research efforts.
Makes recommendations for optimal study designs, develops statistical analysis plans, interprets findings, and prepares written technical and statistical reports.
Assists in the development of research topics in collaboration with internal and external investigators leading to funding support, peer-reviewed publications, and presentations at national meetings.
Responsible for directing biostatistical and/or data analysts in planning and implementing statistical analyses, summarizing results, and reporting findings to investigators.
Responsible for database design, management and data analysis.
Provides data analysis and summary reports.
Participate in committees.
Performs critical review of competitive protocol submissions.
Provides continuing education to staff.
Provides resource materials and brief consultations upon request.
