Overview With minimal guidance performs intermediate-level statistical analysis on impactful pediatric research projects. Creates software applications for research projects with some guidance. Supports BCB team members in handling multiple competing projects and deadlines, and assists in coordinating the statistical needs of each research project. Requirements

  • Master's Degree Biostatistics, Statistics, Epidemiology, Public Health, Data Science, Biometrics, Applied Statistics or related area of study and 3-5 years experience experience related to biostatistics, data science, public health, data analysis and study design.
  • Ph.D. Biostatistics, Statistics, Epidemiology, Public Health, Data Science, Biometrics, Applied Statistics or related area of study and 1-2 years experience experience related to biostatistics, data science, public health, data analysis and study design.

Responsibilities

  • With minimal guidance, performs and interprets basic and more advanced analyses, uses statistical and medical understanding, and best practices for reproducibility, to appropriately perform analyses.
  • Writes own code and finds errors, corrects, and validates output and results. Receives input from more senior biostatisticians.
  • Contributes meaningfully in discussions with investigators and more senior biostatisticians.
  • With some oversight, assists in the dissemination of research results
