This position reports to the Bioprocess Commercial Leader and is part of the Sales Benelux team. This role is remotely in Belgium.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, life sciences or relevant field and 3-5+ years commercial experience, preferably in the Biotechnology industry
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficient organizational skills to follow up and close opportunities to establish strong customer relationships
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with sales tools such as Salesforce.com and Qlik applications
  • Fluency in reading and writing, English and Dutch
  • Valid driver’s license required due to travel responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Represent Cytiva and act as a primary customer point of contact in all allocated accounts and in the territory for Biotech & CDMO customer segments.
  • Expand the business, gain market share, and grow sales & order at expected margins.
  • Achieve annual/quarterly targets through successful promotion of all business technologies and capabilities within all modalities which are relevant to this account.
  • Provide technical support, leveraging technical specialists where needed, aligned with customer workflows and activities to develop and support solutions that meet or exceed the customers’ expectations.
  • Identify opportunities and support team in developing opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain a full understanding of the Cytiva value proposition and a high-level knowledge of competitive products and services
  • Prospecting, forecasting, generating proposals, preparing sales quotations, initiating, and planning customer visits at all levels of the customer organization.
  • Negotiating master agreements and contracts, including terms and conditions as well as facilitating tender responses to customers from the account, in conjunction with product sales specialists as needed.
  • Accountable for overall account success, and growth, leveraging Cytiva customer account team.
  • Accountable to drive overall design-in account strategies, aligned with Clinical Workflow Managers and Sales Specialists on technical Design in projects.
