Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience (transformer experience preferred).
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and teamwork skills.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights using platforms or ladders.
  • Comfortable working in environments with occasional fumes and shift‑based schedules.
  • Strong problem‑solving abilities, basic math skills, and effective written communication.

Responsibilities

  • Perform incoming inspections, teardowns, and component preparation for transformer assemblies.
  • Assemble, stack, re‑insulate, and prepare cores and coils based on engineering specifications.
  • Install units for processing, including oven or vacuum tank placement.
  • Clean, repair, or fabricate structural components and tap changers as required.
  • Cable, crimp, and connect electrical leads according to engineering standards.
  • Follow all manufacturing procedures while ensuring a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
