Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; welding certification is a plus.
  • At least 1 year of manufacturing experience; transformer manufacturing preferred.
  • Strong time management, attention to detail, and ability to follow technical instructions.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and perform mathematical tasks.
  • Comfortable working at heights, lifting up to 50 lbs, and performing physical tasks.
  • Team‑oriented mindset with strong commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Set up winding mandrels, prepare coil forms, and wind coils based on engineering specifications.
  • Interpret technical drawings and perform precise coil fabrication, including brazing and hand taping.
  • Modify materials within defined tolerances and ensure all work follows established manufacturing methods.
  • Operate tow‑motors, coil up‑enders, presses, and overhead cranes safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain clean, organized winding facilities to uphold quality and safety standards.
  • Prepare, size, and inspect coils to ensure compliance with engineering and QC requirements.
