About The Position

Support the government in the development, implementation, and annual update of a five‑year Science and Technology (S&T) strategic plan. Assist in the identification of biometric and forensic materiel solutions suitable for transition to programs of record. Help synchronize, prioritize, and manage S&T investments, ensuring alignment and de-confliction across enterprise S&T efforts and command research opportunities.

Requirements

10+ years of experience in biometric and forensic S&T and RDT&E
5+ years of experience with systems engineering or project management tools to ensure projects and programs meet the needs of the identified stakeholders
5+ years of experience working with the DoW, USG, OGAs, academia, and industry on research and analysis of technological advances or future trends in biometric and forensic technology
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree

Experience organizing and leading workshops, technical exchanges, and stakeholder engagement sessions
Experience managing complex, multi‑organization S&T or capability‑development efforts
Experience engaging with external partners, including government agencies, research organizations, and industry
