About The Position

The Biomedical Technician II is responsible for the performance, repair, and calibration of complex clinical equipment to help ensure uninterrupted care. The role ensures critical medical equipment is safe, accurate, and ready for clinicians, guides clinicians on safe and effective equipment use, and supports operations through accurate documentation, compliance, and inventory control. The position requires independent problem-solving, technical knowledge of electronics and equipment troubleshooting, and clear communication with clinicians, vendors, and leadership.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of biomedical equipment experience in a clinical engineering environment.
• Strong technical skills, including systems, diagnostics, hardware repair, and error code interpretation.
• Associate degree in an electronics or technical field, equivalent experience, or TRIMEDX certification.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.
• Ability to solve problems independently and exercise sound judgment.
• Clear communication with clinicians, vendors, and leadership.
• Precision and attention to compliance.
