About The Position

This position participates and directs, under supervision, the electrical safety, preventive maintenance, and equipment repair programs for biomedical equipment. The role is classified as "safety sensitive," meaning impaired performance could result in harm to the health and/or safety of oneself or others. Employment in this position is excluded for individuals actively engaged in the use of medical marijuana, even with a valid card.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• Minimum of five years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exist.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Responsibilities

• Participates and directs, under supervision, the electrical safety program for biomedical equipment.
• Participates and directs, under supervision, the preventive maintenance program for biomedical equipment.
• Participates and directs, under supervision, the equipment repair program for biomedical equipment.
