About The Position

The engineer will work with a cross-functional team that develops medical devices. This position is characterized by its disciplined quantitative approach to engineering (mechanical and electrical) testing.

Requirements

• B.S. in Engineering (BME, ME Preferred)
• A minimum of 1 year experience working in an engineering lab
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity interdisciplinary systems, including electromechanical and electronic systems
• Proficiency in soldering small components and the use of tools like Millimeter, Oscilloscope, power supply etc. is desirable
• An understanding of PC based tools for testing embedded hardware is desirable

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Solid Works, Lab VIEW, Mat lab and Minitab is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Development and execution of testing protocols: Support exploratory testing to define test equipment, test fixtures, and test methods development; Participate in training, test methods validation, and execution of testing as needed
• Effective Documentation and communication of test results: Write engineering test reports and route them for approval in DHF.
• Design of experiments activities, including for characterization, prototype testing, failure analysis and qualification.
• Support the deployment and evaluation of integrated systems in pre-clinical and clinical studies
