About The Position

As a Biomedical Equipment Technician, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the dialysis/ancillary machines, compliance, facility upkeep, and supply inventory. Performs routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to dialysis equipment, water treatment systems and as required and recommended by the manufacturer and established by company policy and procedures. Participates in preventive maintenance of all ancillary equipment, assuring it follows the manufacturer's recommendations and follows company policies and procedures, industry standards, and local, state, and federal regulatory requirements. Performs water and dialysate sample collection and processing and reviews and participates in evaluating and reporting of quality results per applicable policies and procedures. Participates in monthly QAPI meetings, assisting with the analysis, assembly, and assimilation of information and data and contributing to technical discussion, including reporting outcomes and creating and implementing improvement plans. Conducts weekly and monthly audits for water, equipment documentation, and physical plant inspections per company policies and procedures. Participates in managing medical supply inventory by managing par values, making sure the program has the correct inventory to support the patient treatments, performing physical inventory counts, and generating a physical inventory report.

Requirements

  • High School Degree or Equivalent
  • Current Drivers License
