About The Position
The Biomedical Equipment Technician III takes ownership of highly complex biomedical equipment to support uptime, safety, and performance in a clinical environment. The role resolves advanced technical issues involving system diagnostics, networked devices, and hardware repair, and advises clinicians and leadership on equipment use and strategy. It also leads projects and mentors technicians to strengthen the capabilities of the team. The position calls for an independent technical expert who connects equipment performance to clinical impact and makes sound decisions under pressure.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of biomedical equipment experience in a clinical engineering setting.
- Strong expertise in complex systems, diagnostics, networking, and hardware repair.
- Associate degree in an electronics or technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.
