About The Position

Trimedx is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician I to help ensure critical medical equipment is safe, accurate, and ready for clinical use. The role involves hands-on equipment repair, calibration, and verification, as well as responding to service requests and supporting clinical staff. It also maintains accurate, compliant, and audit-ready equipment records. The position offers early responsibility, mentorship, ongoing training, and opportunities to grow and advance.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.
• A two-year technical/electronics degree, equivalent experience, or TRIMEDX Trained Certification/biomedical certification program.

Nice To Haves

• At least three months of experience working with biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure critical medical equipment is safe, accurate, and ready when clinicians need it.
• Repair, calibrate, and verify devices so hospitals can trust their readings and results.
• Respond to service requests and provide technical support to clinical staff.
• Maintain an accurate, compliant, and audit-ready equipment database.
• Travel as needed.
