About The Position

Diagnoses problems on diagnostic and therapeutic medical imaging equipment; Repairs equipment or establishes a service plan; Performs technical evaluations during RFP and purchase process; Performs calibration, electrical, mechanical and radiation safety inspections and equipment acceptance testing; Manages and performs Preventative and Corrective Maintenance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or foreign equiv. in biomedical engineering or related
• 36 months of experience as a biomed. engineer or related
• 3 years of experience installing, commissioning, and maintaining Siemens diagnostic imaging equipment, including CT, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine, angiography, Interventional Radiology, and radiation therapy equipment
• 3 years of hands-on repair work at the component level
• 3 years of performing technical evaluation of diagnostic medical equipment during RFP and purchase process
