Performs performance assurance inspections, installation, testing, calibration, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of medical instrumentation and systems across multiple categories. Schedules and performs preventive maintenance, performance assurance testing, and electrical safety inspections. Repairs and calibrates equipment to meet original manufacturer specifications. Conducts analyses to identify symptoms, define problems, compare options, implement solutions, and evaluate results. Provides in-service education to staff on equipment operation and safety. Responsible for mentoring and training level one and two Biomedical Electronic Technicians. BJC has determined this is a safety-sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this job.
