Biomed Service Specialist– Field Technician
About The Position
As a Biomedical Services Specialist at DaVita, you’ll be trained to repair & regularly service our Dialysis Machines. You will become part of a Team that values work-life balance and where your personal and professional growth is a top priority. This will mainly cover our Washington DC area (on call pay, mileage reimbursement). DaVita has an open position for a Biomedical Services Specialist who keeps our life-giving dialysis treatments "up and running" every day in our clinics! Requirements
- High School Diploma (GED) – Accredited HSD or GED REQUIRED at time of Onboarding.
- A valid driver’s license within the state you are applying for work.
- Valid automobile insurance and an acceptable driving record.
- Solid computer skills, including MS Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook), the internet, and DaVita-specific applications.
- Available for on-call rotations when needed.
Nice To Haves
- Mechanical abilities, repairs, strong electronics knowledge & diagnostics.
- Experience performing this type of work at some point in the past, or a demonstrated aptitude for it.
- Great communication skills.
- Tech Savvy.
Responsibilities
- Repair and regularly service Dialysis Machines.
- Provide emergency response coverage for clinics and hospitals in the Washington DC area.
- Participate in on-call rotations when needed.
- Use MS Office applications, the internet, and DaVita-specific applications to perform work.
- Troubleshoot technical issues with ease.
