About The Position

As a Biomedical Services Specialist at DaVita, you will be trained to repair and regularly service Dialysis Machines, becoming part of a team that values work-life balance and prioritizes personal and professional growth. This role primarily covers the North Houston area and includes on-call pay, mileage reimbursement, and additional travel pay for work outside the designated area. DaVita is seeking a Biomedical Services Specialist to ensure life-giving dialysis treatments are consistently operational in their clinics. The ideal candidate enjoys repairing machines, thrives in demanding environments, and is eager to contribute as a vital 'clinic guardian'.

Requirements

• High School Diploma (GED) – Accredited HSD or GED REQUIRED at time of Onboarding
• A valid driver’s license within the state you are applying for work
• Valid automobile insurance
• Acceptable driving record
• Reside fairly close to the clinics & Hospitals located in this area, so they can provide adequate emergency response coverage
• Great communications skills
• Tech Savvy, can troubleshoot with ease
• Solid computer skills (MS Office applications - Word, Excel and Outlook, internet navigation)
• Available for on-call rotations when needed

• Mechanical abilities, repairs, strong electronics knowledge & diagnostics (training and certification provided for the right candidate)
