About The Position

Med One Group, a trusted leader in medical equipment and healthcare financing for more than 25 years, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Biomed Repair Technician to join our team in Woodstock, GA. This full-time, hourly position offers the opportunity to work with a wide variety of medical equipment by inspecting, repairing, calibrating, and maintaining devices that support hospitals and healthcare facilities. Requirements

Associate's degree in Electronics, Biomedical Equipment Technology, or a related field required
4-5 years of experience repairing and maintaining medical equipment, including infusion pumps, patient monitors, ventilators, hospital beds, and bariatric beds
Strong knowledge of medical equipment diagnostics, repair techniques, calibration, and preventative maintenance
Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, maintenance procedures, and safety documentation
Strong computer skills and basic technology proficiency
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment
Professional appearance and excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to lift, move, push, and pull equipment weighing up to 75 pounds
Must successfully pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening
Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English
Flexibility to work overtime as business needs require

Responsibilities

Test, inspect, and verify the functionality of medical equipment while performing accuracy, sensitivity, and selectivity measurements.
Assemble, clean, calibrate, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a variety of medical equipment, including infusion pumps, patient monitors, ventilators, hospital beds, and bariatric beds.
Diagnose equipment issues and perform repairs efficiently while ensuring all equipment meets safety and performance standards.
Complete manufacturer training, certifications, and other recommended courses to maintain technical expertise and competency.
Maintain accurate service records and documentation for repairs, inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance.
Assist with the delivery, installation, setup, troubleshooting, and diagnosis of medical equipment at hospitals and healthcare facilities as needed.
Build professional relationships with hospital staff by providing exceptional customer service and technical support.
Interface with hospital systems and other customers as necessary to ensure equipment functionality and customer satisfaction.
Assist with receiving, processing, and preparing medical equipment for inventory and future deployment.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following company policies and safety procedures.
Support the Rental Operations team with additional responsibilities as business needs require.
