Requirements

  • Bachelors degree (BS or BA) in engineering, rehabilitation, biology, physical therapy, kinesiology, anatomy, physiology, neuroscience, or a related discipline.
  • Interest and basic experience in the motion analysis process.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Substantial experience and expertise in human movement analysis.
  • Prior clinical experience.

Responsibilities

  • Collection and analysis of 3D and 2D motion capture, ground reaction force, electromyographic, and plantar pressure data on patients to serve as the basis for their clinical treatment planning.
  • Communication with physicians, scientists, physical therapists, biomechanists, and administrative staff.
  • Receive procedure training for all of the aforementioned biomechanical analyses.
  • Manage a full case load of lower extremity and upper extremity movement analysis patients.
  • Collect and analyze complex clinical cases that lead to sophisticated treatment plans and often post treatment follow-up analyses.
  • Collect and analyze data in several research protocols such as total knee replacement, knee osteoarthritis, foot and ankle, shoulder and hand/wrist studies.
  • Co-author conference abstracts and peer-reviewed publications based upon effort and diligence to the project.
