About The Position

This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field. The successful candidate will be responsible for learning and implementing OSHA safety standards in biology lab settings. Proficiency in MS Office and/or Google Workspace is essential, along with an understanding of the general operations of a biology lab.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.
• Ability to learn and carry out implementation of OSHA safety standards in biology lab settings.
• Proficiency in MS Office and/or Google workspace.
• Understanding of general working operations of biology lab setting.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.
• Good understanding of the diverse fields within biology and knowledge of where to locate order and operate supplies relevant to those fields.
• Exposure to and understanding of OSHA safety standards
• Supervisory experience
• Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and other standard office software
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
• Familiarity with digital record keeping and/or inventory management systems
