About The Position

Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company providing a unique range of analytical testing services. This role involves performing tissue culture based potency assays on live vaccine products, process intermediates, and related experimental samples. The biologist will also prepare solutions and culture media, maintain multiple cell lines, and adhere to good manufacturing practices (GMP) for record-keeping. The position requires working independently, documenting work clearly, performing tests accurately, and communicating effectively with client staff. Experience with ELISA and other cell-based assays is also expected.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or other related degree concentration, or equivalent directly-related experience
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
• At least six months related laboratory experience including aseptic and cell culture techniques
• General laboratory skills, experience with pipettes, and experience with automation
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

Nice To Haves

• Demonstrated expertise with GXP compliance, documentation, technical writing (procedures and policies) is a plus
• Experience using formulas and linking spreadsheets in Excel
