About The Position

The Biologics Sales Manager will lead, manage, and hold the sales force within the Arthrex Minnesota territory accountable for the year-over-year success of the Arthrex Biologics product portfolio. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining expert knowledge of the Biologics portfolio and ensuring annual sales quotas are effectively managed and achieved. You will accomplish this by utilizing the CRM and sales reporting tools provided by Arthrex, establishing effective communication with employees, ensuring appropriate engagement from territory representatives, and holding regular meetings with Biologics accountable representatives to establish goals and ensure those goals result in appropriate weekly action. You will also be responsible for maintaining existing customer relationships and establishing new relationships through regular communication and in-person appointments. This role requires strong leadership and demands that the individual set a professional example for all team members to follow.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of three years of Biologics product sales experience.
  • Effective management skills and the ability to manage the company’s sales operations.
  • Strong time-management, communication, decision-making, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Professional appearance and presentation required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and direction in a dynamic work environment.
  • Demonstrated initiative, including regularly engaging in proactive behavior and identifying opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Work within an assigned geographic sales area and develop and manage specific plans to maximize sales revenue, meet sales quotas, and achieve other Biologics initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and technical expert for all Biologics products in the portfolio.
  • Develop, coach, and mentor the sales team.
  • Monitor and assist with Biologics-related activities within assigned territories, including training, coaching, motivation, sales planning, and sales calls.
  • Help negotiate sales terms that have been pre-approved by the Regional Director and owners.
  • Utilize CRM tools to track and manage category performance.
  • Manage and develop key account and customer relationships.
  • Work closely with Arthrex Regional Management and Product Management to ensure corporate and agency initiatives are aligned, communicated, and carried out.
  • Plan and host surgeon and staff training events at the Arthrex Minnesota Education Center.
  • Assist in planning and hosting agency-wide Biologics meetings.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all Biologics RFPs within the Arthrex Minnesota territory.
  • Attend surgeries to provide technical expertise and guidance to surgeons and operating room staff.
  • Travel to Arthrex headquarters in Naples, Florida, for personal training and to assist with customer training sessions and events.
  • Travel three or more days per week and occasionally work weekends.
