About The Position
This role is for a Bioinformatics Patent Attorney or Patent Agent at a mid-sized law firm ranked nationally for Patent Law. The firm is very active in representing clients at the PTAB and ITC, and has a busy patent prosecution practice with cutting-edge clients, primarily medium to large companies.
Requirements
- Registered with the USPTO
- Prior patent prosecution experience
- Highly detail-oriented
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in technical writing
- For Attorney candidates, admission (or qualification for admission) to the state bar corresponding to the primary office location is required.
Nice To Haves
- Advanced degree (MS or PhD)
- High level of familiarity and practical experience in both the software and biological fields
