About The Position
Position Summary: The Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Colorado State University seeks applications for temporary Adjunct Instructor positions who are interested in obtaining non-tenure track teaching positions within the department. Instruction may be in didactic as well as laboratory courses. Annual terms and reappointment may depend on performance and/or the continued availability of funding. The department provides instruction of both undergraduate and graduate students. Duties, funding source, appointment length, and work modality (in-person, hybrid, or remote) vary depending on departmental needs. Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver undergraduate and/or graduate courses in accordance with department curriculum and university standards.
- Evaluate student performance, and hold office hours to provide timely feedback to support student learning and success.
- Collaborating with faculty, staff, graduate students, and other research personnel.
- Comply with departmental, college, and university policies related to instruction, academic integrity, and student conduct.
