About The Position

We are seeking a Bioassay Scientist to perform routine laboratory testing and support activities within our Analytical Development team. This position focuses primarily on executing established assays and following standard methods to support early development studies. This is a collaborative, supportive environment where early‑career scientists can learn new techniques, gain real biotech experience, and grow their careers.

Requirements

  • B.S. degree in biological or biochemical sciences (or related field) with 1+ years of relevant laboratory experience. M.S. degree in biological or biochemical sciences (or related field) with relevant laboratory experience.
  • Experience with mammalian cell culture (within an industry setting is highly preferred)
  • Ability to present data in team meetings.
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with bioanalytical methods such as cell-based functional assays, PCR, and ELISA
  • Experience with oligonucleotides or lipid nanoparticles.
  • Experience working on automation platforms.
  • Knowledge/hands-on experience in analytical method development, qualification, validation, and transfer to GMP environments.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine analytical and potency assays using established methods
  • Support non‑GMP testing for development studies such as stability, process development, and product characterization
  • Conduct day‑to‑day lab activities including: Basic sterile tissue culture and mammalian cell culture maintenance, Handling and preparation of lipid nanoparticles (LNPs), Execution of cell‑based potency assays
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and written protocols
  • Accurately collect, process, and document experimental data in an electronic lab notebook
  • Perform basic data review and report results to team members
  • Assist with sample preparation steps such as DNA/RNA extraction or PCR‑based techniques as trained
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure supplies and reagents are stocked
  • Support troubleshooting and investigations with guidance from senior staff
  • Work closely with team members to complete daily and weekly testing activities
  • Perform additional routine duties as assigned
