About The Position

Celerion is seeking a full-time Bioanalytical Fee & Proposal Support professional to join its Bioanalytical Services team. In this role, the professional will support the development of scopes, budgets, and pricing for bioanalytical studies, collaborating closely with Business Development, Operations, Finance, and Contracts teams. This position is crucial for ensuring accurate, competitive, and compliant proposals and for supporting the financial lifecycle of awarded studies, from forecasting through close-out.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Life Sciences, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
2–4 years of experience in proposal support, pricing, financial operations, or project coordination
Experience supporting client-facing, project-based budgets and financial tracking
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, analysis, templates)
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Effective written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

Experience in bioanalytical services, clinical research, or life sciences
Familiarity with Smartsheet or similar workflow/project management tools
Exposure to RFQs, change orders, contracts, and quotations

Responsibilities

Support study scoping and development of bioanalytical budgets and fee estimates
Prepare pricing materials for proposals, RFQs, bid grids, cost assumptions, and timelines
Assist with quotation and contract preparation, project number creation, and document tracking
Support change orders by evaluating scope changes and financial impacts
Maintain consistency and accuracy across pricing models, templates, and assumptions
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to develop competitive pricing strategies
Provide financial support for awarded bioanalytical projects, ensuring alignment between scope, budget, and actuals
Maintain project data in local and global systems with timely updates
Assist with weekly forecasting, variance tracking, and WIP monitoring
Support invoice preparation and allocation of pass-through costs
Partner with Finance and Contracts to ensure alignment between budgets, fees, and contractual terms
Assist with financial inquiries, adjustments, and project close-out activities
Support development and optimization of Smartsheet tools and pricing templates
Utilize AI and automation to improve efficiency and data accuracy
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in proposal, pricing, and financial processes
Assist with ordering study-specific materials and supplies for the Bioanalytical department
