About The Position
The Bioanalytical Chemist performs physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis of protein and small molecule therapeutics. The role involves independently operating laboratory instrumentation, preparing samples and standards, and conducting analyses with minimal supervision. The position also includes monthly laboratory equipment maintenance and other laboratory support activities. Knowledge of cGMP and LIMS is required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry or another related degree concentration, or equivalent directly related experience.
- 2–3 years of bioanalytical testing experience.
- Knowledge of cGMP and LIMS.
Responsibilities
- Perform physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis of protein and small molecule therapeutics.
- Independently operate instrumentation, including LC, iCE, CGE, pH, and UV-vis spectroscopy.
- Prepare samples for analysis and run instrumentation with minimal supervision.
- Prepare standards and samples for analysis.
- Perform monthly maintenance of laboratory equipment and other laboratory support activities.
