About The Position

Provides expert-level experience in the repair, calibration, and maintenance of medical equipment, instrumentation and support systems used in healthcare delivery. Executes professional-level inventory assessment/audits and preventive maintenance of medical equipment. Provides remedial corrective maintenance and maintain documentation of all service events, tests, and maintenance performed on biomedical equipment. Requirements

Associate degree or equivalent in electronics with bio-medical equipment technology maintenance knowledge is a plus, or; minimum of three years related experience in the repair and maintenance of medical equipment preferred, or; Completion of two (2) bio-medical training/education courses specific to hospital equipment, or; Successful completion of an HRMC bio-medical equipment competency exam.
Knowledge of plant operations and systems including heating, cooling, ventilation, electrical, medical gas, sanitation, and portable water required.
Current valid South Dakota driver’s license.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and other manuals and documents.
