Bio-Chemist / QC Analyst (Chantilly, VA)
About The Position
As a Biochemist / QC Analyst for Granules Pharmaceuticals Inc, you would be responsible for analyzing bio-availability and bioequivalency of pharmaceutical products using next generation sequencing, UV-Vis, GC, FTIR. You will also identify and develop analytical methods to compare dissolution profiles using cGMP/cGLP, Empower, HPLC, pH meter, dissolution and Malvern Mastersizer 2000. This role involves coordinating and executing microbiological testing as per USP/USP-NF, compiling and analyzing laboratory test data for physical, biochemical, chemical, and analytical testing using Dissolution Apparatus, Karl Fisher. Additionally, you will interpret test results and established specifications and control limits to ensure appropriateness of data for release, and analyze biochemical results.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Pharmaceutical Science
- Skills and knowledge of HPLC, UV-Vis, GC, FTIR, dissolution and Malvern Mastersizer 2000, Karl Fisher
