About The Position
MM is a global leader in consumer packaging. The Group provides packaging solutions for cartonboard and folding cartons with an attractive offer in kraft papers, uncoated fine papers, leaflets and labels. MM promotes sustainable development through innovative, recyclable packaging and paper products. To strengthen our motivated Bindery Team at our plant in Indianapolis, IN we are looking for a highly competent Bindery Set-Up Technician.
Requirements
- High school diploma in a vocational and/or work-study program.
- Acceptable verbal, organizational, and people skills.
- Can lift up to 35 pounds, loads heavier than 35 pounds will be lifted with mechanical device or 2-person lift.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and troubleshoot multiple pieces of equipment.
- Proficient in the set up of folding equipment (Vijuk, Stahl, Pratham, Mueller, MBO etc..) per client/job order specifications.
- Perform beginning and ending line clearances.
- Demonstrate acceptable attendance and good mechanical aptitude.
- General computer skills.
- Organized and disciplined in following of established processes and procedures.
- Use problem-solving as a routine element of the job.
