About The Position

Oliver Inc. is hiring an accountable Bindery Operator to set up & operate Cutting, Folding and Saddle-stitching equipment. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional who can work independently and deliver efficiency, accuracy, and on-time performance. If perfection is not enough for you and you tend to excel, we would like to meet you! As our Bindery Operator, you will read and understand job ticket specifications, set and operate machines to published specifications, and set up the bindery equipment to the specifications of the project. You will also identify, troubleshoot and correct product defects, perform preventive and corrective maintenance on bindery equipment as needed, and operate the bindery equipment at the highest production speed while maintaining the highest quality products. Effectively communicate the status of jobs and machines at shift-change to ensure smooth transition.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing setting up & operating various Bindery equipment.
• In-depth knowledge of the mechanics and capabilities of equipment, tooling, supplies, etc.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, as well as work independently.
• Ability to regularly lift, stack, bend, walk, use pallet jack, and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Strong mechanical skills.
• Team Player with ability to multi-task with deadlines while still meeting standards.
• Demonstrate high ethical standards with fellow employees, customers, and the public.
• Detail-oriented.
