About The Position

ABOUT THE ROLE The Bindery Operator operates multiple bindery and finishing machines, including stitchers, cutters, folders, and gluers. We are looking for someone with several years of experience as an operator in a bindery-folder or finishing setting. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of efficiently operating folding machines, ensuring high-quality output, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced print production environment. Requirements

Minimum five (5) years of experience in Bindery/Finishing machine operation experience.
Must be able to complete and pass a Public Trust Security Clearance

Responsibilities

Overall responsibility for on-time machine operations in the Bindery department.
Ensures that assembly practices comply with established policies and procedures.
Troubleshoot problems and report findings to the appropriate program manager and departmental managerial team.
Perform typical Bindery operations to support the assembly floor.
Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
Perform prescribed preventative maintenance on machines.
