About The Position

As an Assistant Machine Operator, you will set up, adjust & operate a single piece of machinery. You will participate in training to prepare to promote into a Lead operator position. You will inspect equipment for safety issues, monitor quality, output and productivity. You will learn to utilize tools to measure and adjust machine to target levels, and learn and engage in preventative maintenance tasks as required. You will assist the lead operator with providing guidance to crew members and work in a team environment and cross-train with others.

Requirements

• Ability to do basic math and computer knowledge
• Ability to lift 20-50 pounds
• Ability to stand for the duration of your shift

• Preference will be given to candidates who agree to participate in cross-training. This includes achieving qualified status within the position and assuming responsibility as a backup for lateral and progressive roles, as needed.

• Starting Rate: $22.00 - $27.40 with a 7% increase for second and third shift.
