About The Position

Sheridan Liberty has an immediate opening for a 2nd Shift Bindery Material Handler! This is a dynamic, fast-paced role where you will keep production moving smoothly by keeping our finishing equipment stocked and organized. We will train the right person! If you have a strong work ethic and enjoy a hands-on environment, we want to talk to you.

Requirements

Basic warehouse layout knowledge, item code identification, and the ability to feed, stock, move, jog, and rotate production items.
Experience using stock description forms and manual handling tools (dollies, carts, hand trucks, strapping tools).
Ability to stand/walk for extended periods, bend/twist, and lift up to 20 lbs occasionally (10 lbs frequently) in a fast-paced, noisy environment.

Nice To Haves

Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is a plus, but on-the-job training is provided!
Familiarity with industrial safety standards or bindery/production machinery.

Responsibilities

Read work orders, identify required materials, and feed or pile down products at the equipment.
Jog products off the counter stacker and stack them neatly on skids for seamless departmental transfers.
Separate signatures, count/weigh materials, and record data on daily production sheets.
Complete skid flags, pack slips, install strapping/bracing, and attach identifying tags to secure materials for transit.
Stack materials into bundles, secure them with banding equipment, and occasionally operate automated machinery, industrial trucks, or hoists.
