About The Position

Requirements

Completion of secondary education and/or equivalent
Strong mechanical aptitude
Able to read and understand instructions and follow quality procedures
Willingness to undergo on-site training to develop skills and knowledge specific to our equipment and processes
Able to lift up to 35 lbs.
Able to work well both independently and in a team environment
Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Must hold or be eligible to attain Government security screening to secret level

Nice To Haves

Previous experience operating machinery (preferably in a manufacturing or production setting) is an asset.

Responsibilities

Set-up and run equipment according to docket specifications
Examine printed material and products to ensure conformity to quality standards
Maintain a clean work area and maintain equipment using hand tools
Perform regularly scheduled maintenance and preventative checks on equipment
Respect and abide by all Health and Safety policies, as well as all safety checks on equipment
Communicate effectively with co-workers regarding work in progress at shift change
