About The Position

Taylor Corporation is looking for an Equipment Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will operate printing press equipment, monitor product quality, and help ensure production runs safely, efficiently, and according to customer specifications. Ability to adjust equipment mechanisms to required tolerances

Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
Frequently required to move inside the facility
Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)

Responsibilities

Prepare and operate printing press equipment according to job specifications and company quality standards
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly equipment maintenance to ensure optimal performance
Prepare inks to achieve proper color and consistency
Verify paper type, size, color, and quantity before production
Check printing plates for correct format
Inspect printed materials throughout production to ensure quality standards are met
Coordinate with the Production Team to prioritize jobs and adjust schedules as needed to meet changing deadlines
Follow all safety requirements related to the job and equipment
