Requirements

  • Requires High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years commercial bindery associate experience which includes setting up and operating cutting and folding equipment within a commercial printing environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous work experience in setting up and operating saddle stitching equipment is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Finishes high-quality products by setting up and operating equipment which includes automated cutters, folders, and saddle stitchers.
  • Sets up and operates equipment efficiently to meet or exceed customer requirements and the company’s quality standards.
  • Monitors the product for quality while minimizing waste and rework.
  • Diagnoses problems, makes adjustments, troubleshoots and provides the required maintenance to equipment in a timely manner.
  • Observes established safe working and housekeeping procedures and follows all standard operating procedures and work.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
