About The Position
The De Pere, Wisconsin RRD team is seeking a motivated and reliable team member to join the bindery crew. This is a first shift position in a climate-controlled environment.
Requirements
- Should be able to stand up to eight hours.
- Organizational skills.
- Basic skill in the use of shrink-wrap or strapping equipment, manual dollies, pallet jacks, tape fasteners, related equipment
- The ability to work on an inserter attached to the top or back of a press.
Responsibilities
- Load and unloads materials onto pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand
- Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area, using hand truck, electric dolly, or other device
- Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers
- Stacks or assembles materials into bundles and bands bundles together, using banding machine and clincher. May occasionally use automated equipment and/or operate industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
- Builds pallets and applies all necessary paperwork to the pallet and moves pallet to a shipping staging area.
- Performs off line tasks as needed, (floorwork, cleaning trays, giving breaks, fixing packing errors)
