Requirements

• Ability to read a limited of two- or three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between a series of numbers.
• Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide by 10’s and 100’s.
• Ability to perform these operations using units of weight measurement, volume, and distance.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to stand for more than one hour per occurrence, walk up to 600 feet per occurrence, use hands to finger or feel and talk or hear.
• Must be able to pick up 100-pound bags and move up to 20 feet.
• Vision abilities require the ability to see close distances (within vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to focus.

Responsibilities

• Direct movement of rice in storage bins daily
• Clean bins daily
• Keep area clean daily
• Do preventive maintenance weekly
• Other duties as assigned by manager
