SummaryThe BIM/VDC Manager creates and supports Building Information Modeling and Virtual Design Construction in-house standards and processes, working directly with the Regional BIM/VDC Manager to facilitate jobsite construction using VDC. Serves as key technical and implementation source of BIM for assigned projects. Directs activities in assigned areas including implementation, integration, design interface, design quality and identification of potential interferences, liabilities, and/or concerns. Works with other Departments to create better processes using BIM. Finds and implements new construction technology to make field operations safe and efficient.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of related experience or equivalent combinations of education and experience
Requires an advanced knowledge of 3D/4D/5D BIM and of appropriate platforms such as AutoCad, Architectural Desktop, Tekla, Revit, etc.
