BIM/VDC Internship
About The Position
The BIM/VDC intern will gain hands-on experience in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and electrical construction workflows, supporting both design and coordination efforts. This role provides exposure to industry-standard software such as Revit, Evolve, and Autodesk Construction Cloud while working closely with BIM specialists, project managers, and field teams. The intern will develop an understanding of electrical drawings, 3D modeling, and digital project coordination, while contributing to real-world projects in a collaborative environment. Through a combination of structured training and practical application, the intern will build foundational skills in modeling, documentation, and construction technology. Through this experience, you will build a strong foundation in both technical and professional competencies while gaining insight into potential long-term career paths within the organization and industry.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree relevant to BIM/VDC or electrical construction.
- Familiarity with industry-standard software such as Revit, Evolve, and Autodesk Construction Cloud is a plus.
- Strong interest in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and electrical construction workflows.
- Ability to understand electrical drawings and 3D modeling concepts.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Eagerness to learn and develop technical and professional competencies.
