About The Position

Salas O’Brien is looking for a BIM Specialist/Modeler to assist project managers and technical design staff in the development of Mechanical and Plumbing engineering models LOD 200, 300 and 350 for production of design drawings, construction documents, templates, families, and details for projects in markets such as commercial office space, mission critical, telecommunications, healthcare, and education. The role also involves support to BIM and Digital Delivery initiatives by creating and maintaining BIM content for the organization. This position reports to the office Principal and BIM Manager whilst working as an integrated part of project’s design teams.

Requirements

Proficient in all Revit platforms.
Proficient with Revit families, Revit parameters, and Revit schedules.
Ability to work with design teams on multiple projects at the same time.
Proficient with BIM360 and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Highly organized and detail oriented.
Team player with flexibility to accommodate different client’s needs and project’s requirements.
Experience with Bluebeam or Adobe Acrobat PDF.
Completion of a technical college diploma in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction.
5+ years of engineering drafting and experience.
Minimum of 3 years experience working with Autodesk Revit.
