About The Position
Joseph J. Albanese, Inc. is seeking a full-time BIM Modeler to join our Virtual Construction team. This individual will report directly to our BIM Manager. The ideal candidate will have either a structural or architectural background with BIM experience. Requirements
- 3 - 4 years Revit experience
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction, or equivalent
- Strong computer skills in Revit and Microsoft Office, plus the ability to learn Autodesk Build, Bluebeam, and Navisworks
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong work ethic, team player, and attention to detail
Nice To Haves
- Revit Professional Certification a plus
- Formwork detailing is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Analyze construction drawings and build 3D model of concrete scope of project
- Identify design and constructability issues, and communicate with the project team through the RFI process
- Collaborate with GC and other trades in the BIM coordination process
- Prepare shop drawings for submittal and coordination with field crews
- Prepare digital files for Total Station layout in the field.
- Extract model quantities and prepare pour sequence drawings
