BIM Manager

VeevHayward, CA
$150,000 - $190,000

About The Position

Veev is a company transforming the construction industry through innovative modular home construction. They utilize prefabricated closed-panel systems for efficient on-site assembly, aiming for a more sustainable and higher-quality product than traditional methods. As a subsidiary of Lennar, Veev combines the scale of its parent company with the agility of a Silicon Valley startup. Their vertically integrated approach spans real estate, design, development, engineering, manufacturing, and construction. This role is crucial to Veev's mission, focusing on developing digital design and delivery within the company's design environment and systems to enhance efficiency, sustainability, and quality in modern home construction. The work will directly impact Veev's ability to scale operations and drive industry change.

  • Own BIM standards, Revit templates, model structure, naming conventions, parameters, and modeling methodologies.
  • Establish and maintain governance for BIM content, model health, family quality, and standards compliance.
  • Ensure consistent adoption of BIM standards across relevant internal teams.
  • Create practical QA/QC processes for BIM models, families, data structures, and documentation outputs.
  • Drive model quality so BIM outputs are accurate, coordinated, buildable, and usable by downstream teams.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of Revit families, assemblies, templates, and reusable BIM content.
  • Ensure BIM content reflects product intent, engineering requirements, manufacturing constraints, and field constructability.
  • Partner with the BIM Design Specialist to ensure models are not only complete, but production-ready and practical.
  • Build and maintain a knowledge base for BIM assets, modeling standards, workflows, and team practices.
  • Partner with the BIM Systems Specialist to define and maintain the structure of Veev’s BIM environment.
  • Ensure BIM data and model structures support PLM, MCAD, manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, and field workflows.
  • Work with PLM, MCAD, Software, Engineering Production, Manufacturing, and Construction teams to close gaps between design intent and execution.
  • Support BIM-to-CAD, BIM-to-CAM, and BIM-to-manufacturing process development where needed.
  • Help define how BIM information should flow into downstream systems and release processes.
  • Serve as the primary BIM point of ownership for Engineering, Product, Manufacturing, PLM, MCAD, Software, and Construction stakeholders.
  • Translate business, product, and production needs into clear BIM team priorities.
  • Resolve modeling, standards, coordination, and constructability issues that block downstream execution.
